Today the internet is making history. All across the web websites are making news by blacking out their sites in protest to the SOPA and PIPA. As we discussed in a previous blog post, these new bills could effect our online freedom and hurt online businesses.
Early this Monday morning news broke about hackers accessing Zappos and their affiliate site servers. User data and other sensitive information was compromised and emails were sent out to those that were effected.
The other day a friend of mine mentioned that he was searching for a new car online. He had been browsing many different auto manufacture’s websites, but had yet to come up with a choice on the car he wanted to buy. He knows that I work in the internet marketing industry so he mentioned how much Ford spends on their advertising. He said “I see their ads everywhere I go!”
